Last weekend was Rancho Bernardo High School’s annual Prom Fashion Show. This year they added musicians and singers to the show with a variety of performances from Elvis to Adele. It was a great show all around with many vendors, prizes and food.

Outgoing, beautiful and fun!!

Working with High School Seniors allows me to meet some truly inspiring, unique and sometimes very brave, teenagers. This young lady is all three and I was very honored to photograph her.
Aside from being strikingly beautiful on the outside, I learned that Hayley is that as well on the inside. She enjoys working with special needs and autistic children and sees the inspiration and uniqueness in each of them.
Over the holidays after bumping her head, Hayley’s doctors noticed something very alarming. In just a few weeks she was headed for major surgery. I was able to meet her only two days before her surgery where she carried herself with grace and poise. She seemed very comfortable and confident and one would not have known of her health concerns.
I am happy to say that she is on the other side of the surgery and making a full recovery (minus a scar) with no foreseeable issues or side effects.
Here are some of her beautiful images from our session.

I am so thankful for all my clients, friends and family that supported me this year. I hope for all of you the very best in the New Year and hope that I will see much more of you all for coffee, photos or chats!
Here are some of my year end holiday family cheer that so many of you helped me to create.
